Working in Montana and Wyoming for the past few weeks has brought joy and peace to my life. The mountains make me feel alive and breathing the same air as the grizzly bear fills my soul! For me, there is no place else like it!
This spring there were more bear cubs (both black and grizzly) than I have encountered in the past. There were moments of laughter as silliness played out before my eyes; along with times of simple observation. Watching cubs of the year is night and day to watching one year olds. The spring cubs play and fight and just generally have a good time, while the yearlings know they need to eat to survive. Not that they don’t all do cute things every once in a while, but those tiny COY really know how to put on a show!
Wanting to share a vast assortment of cubby images, I am in the process of creating a brand new collection. Besides being available online, I will be premiering the collection at the Blueberry Arts Festival in Ely, Minnesota the weekend of July 24th, 25th & 26th!
Here are a few samples that I’ve begun to process.
